How Self Love is the Best Love with Views from the Six Style Icon
Shapely is in love with fashion and beauty blogger, Louange Mwajuma from the city of Toronto. Louange with her massive following of 13K+ subscribers on YouTube and 80.3K follows on Instagram is a plus size, body positive advocate with amazing fashion sense. I personally have been a raging fan girl of Louange amongst the Shapely team.
If you haven’t figure it out by now then let me spell it out for you. Louange, truly represents for the body positivity movement through fashion. Wearing anything she likes and may I say, wearing it well. In every photo or video she exudes confidence and beauty not only on the inside but also on the outside. From offering styling tips for women that look like her to addressing how she became confident in herself. In the video, she states “things needed to change because the way, people perceived me started to affect the way that I perceived myself.”
It was at her church, after listening to her pastor’s testimony on self love. That she then adopted his positive affirmations and wellness exercises for herself. So that she can learn how to view herself in the way that God sees her and that she is also beautiful. Thus, she realized that there was nothing wrong with claiming her beauty and confidence out loud.

In the purest form, Louange is very personable and relatable in this video on confidence. I too can relate since I also had to work my way up to the confidence that I have today. Although, I wish I had discovered earlier some of the wonderful insight she found in her journey. I think that my journey to self-love and confidence would have been easier.
Nevertheless, it’s never to late to learn to love one self and it goes deeper than looks. Thus, I’m proud to present, Louange as Shapely’s Fatshionable style icon and body positive advocate for the month of February. Which is also a month where we not only celebrate all forms of love but also Black History. We’re excited to celebrate such important moments by recognizing a taste maker providing more than just style but also representing diversity in size, shape and color.
To learn more about Louange feel free to follow her on Instagram, YouTube, and or Facebook. If you would like to featured as a Fatshionable style icon please email Shapely at info@shapelyevents.com.
