Morray: All Bass Some Trouble

Morray is a plus size rap artist from Fayetville North Carolina. Cosigned by J. Cole and followed by the likes of Dave East, DJ Duffy, DJ Bobby Trends and many more, I consider him a big deal. Stumbling across his profile via Instagram, I initially stopped because he was a man of size. What kept me interested was his heavy hitting sound. His social media persona is gritty, intriguing, and for the streets. His what I call, “hood sermons,” and fun personality makes him one of my top artist to get familiar with. His single Quicksand is out now. It’s melodic flow and relatable imagery left me wanting more. As soon as I could blink, I created an entire playlist.
