Quarantine Couture

Trends you should watch for your staycation and vacation.

We really miss being outside and going on vacations even more! Although vacation plans are on hold, this doesn’t stop us from planning the showstopping looks we want to achieve the second outside reopens.

No vacation plans anyway? No problem! Make this a staycation and enjoy your favorite looks from the comfort of your own home. This is a great time to raid your closet as well. Get rid of anything you don’t love or that no longer fits. If your items are in good condition, we suggest preparing and setting aside for a charitable donation. There’s always a need within our communities and this is a great way to give back while you make room.

Now with all that free closet space, you can fill it up with some trends from a few bloggers and vendors we love!

Sheer Intuition

Anything sheer is great for the upcoming summer months. Just imagine the cool breeze running through your cover up, pants, dress or top. We also love sheer fabric coupled with a ruffle or puffed sleeve; it’s so chic. Trim details like fringe adds dimension without the weight.

The Block Is Hot

Color block that is! Color block dresses and even swimwear add so much color without adding layers to achieve a vibrant look. It’s a great statement for summer; bold and fierce. Pops of color are the perfect addition to any summer ensemble, aside from yourself!

Prints So Charming

Everyone loves a good print. We won’t tell you which one to choose because we love them all. Whether it’s animal, ikat or dots, be sure it compliments you and your personality. Have fun with it!

Mai Tai Feels Like Tie Dye

If you never tried a tie-dyed look as a kid, this is the season to make your grown-up debut! These looks come in an assortment of colors and most likely a stretchy fabric for comfort. We’ve seen short sets, two-piece dress sets and tees. Pick any color, and sip your Mai Tai in your cool new look.

We’d love to see your Quarantine Couture looks! Please share with us by using #ShapelyQuarantineCouture for a chance to be featured.

Note: some of the mentioned looks may not no longer be available for sale.
