This New Orleans artist describes her music as chilled, factual and touching. We agree! Her songs are heartfelt messages that many can identify with. “Stars” is a musical illustration and somewhat of a reminder of I’sis’ journey. It also encourages others to keep on pushing regardless of their past or current circumstances. What’s also impressive is I’sis’ view own ownership in relation to music. In the music industry, this is not a topic of conversation you often hear coming from young artists. The unsigned artist states if she was signed to a label, her priority will be to copyright all of her music. She will invest in her own studio as well.
