In today’s day and age, you do hear songs about men praising and somewhat uplifting women however, that tends to be in reference to one’s beauty or catching one’s eye. But track encouraging a woman to pick up the pieces after a bad break up? Fixing her credit and “bossing up?” This track and visual story changes the narrative of today’s typical R&B story.
