Shapely User Generated Content Terms of Use

Shapely Events LLC (“Shapely”) reaches out to social media users to seek their permission to feature our favorite content on our various sites, social channels, and various promotional materials. You are reading this because Shapely has requested your permission to use your social media content in this way.

If you choose to allow us to use your social media content (“User Content”) by replying with the hashtag #HiShapely, you agree to these Terms of Use.

Shapely engages a limited number of service providers to facilitate the collection and transmission to the Shapely website (www.shapelyevents.com)(the “Site”), social media channels, promotional materials and other properties (“Shapely Properties”) of User Content, including photos, text, graphics, audio, video, location information, comments and other materials from social media sites, for use by Shapely in connection with its business, including Shapely’s product feature, marketing, promotional, advertising and other consumer-related activities.

Shapely reserves the right to alter these Terms of Use without advance notice by posting a revised Terms of Use. Accordingly, you should review the Terms of Use each time you grant permission or authorization to feature your User Content.

Authorization, Release & Consent

I hereby authorize and grant Shapely, its representatives, its employees, its contractors and its volunteers permission to use and/or publish photographs or videos of myself in print and/or electronically regardless of my experiences with them. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of Shapely will not be returned.

I hereby authorize Shapely to publish the photographs taken of me, and my name, for use in their printed publications, social media, marketing and website

I grant Shapely Events LLC permission to use my photos on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media platform they choose to.

I allow Shapely the irrevocable and unrestricted right t to edit, alter, copy, or distribute the photos for publication, promotion, illustration, advertising, or trade, in any manner or in any medium.

I further agree that my participation in any publication, social media, and website produced by Shapely confers upon me no right of ownership whatsoever.

I acknowledge that since my participation in publications, social media and websites produced by Shapely is voluntary, I will receive no financial or other compensation.

In consideration of all the above, I hereby acknowledge receipt of Shapely’s User Generated Content Terms of Use:

I release and discharge Shapely, its contractors, its volunteers and its employees from any and all claims made by me or a third party arising out of use of the photos or videos for any lawful purpose such as for publicity, illustration, advertising, marketing and Web content.
