NYC Gets the Perfect Plus Size Brunch Experience!

On Saturday, March 26, 2022 Shapely hosted another Big Brunch in the beautiful Park Slope Event Space with a turn out of over 100 people.
Founder Iya Thomas, was excited to have a prosperous turnout and further prove that every “body” loves to brunch! The goal of the Big Brunch by Shapely is to create an inclusive, body-positive brunch experience specifically for people of size. This event provided a trendy atmosphere for plus sizers to enjoy the experience of a brunch in a fun, chic and comfortable environment and an opportunity to socialize with other plus size foodies.

Guests enjoyed delicious cuisine, drinks like the “Big Shot” which was a nod to the event. Spins and shots on a 360 photo booth powered by Snap Scene and an opportunity to connect in a comfortable and fun environment. Without a doubt all the guests had a great time like Noris Peguero, who said “I liked the inclusivity! And honestly I have never been to a body positive event. I loved this.” Leslie Rodriguez body positive influencer and comedian was also in attendance. Leslie took photos with guests and was the perfect hostess followed by plenty of dancing the afternoon away to music by the DJ group Future Vibez.
