Our winner Phyllis writes:

National Best Friends Day

“My BFF is Heidi Davis, the beautiful blonde in the pic. [Although], I have to share her with many others who can make the same claim. She’s just that awesome! She is a staunch defender of the BBW community as well as many more groups and causes. I’m old enough to be her mother, but she’s always treated me like the kid at heart that I am. She’s my sister, cousin, niece, daughter-at-heart, partner in crime, my gossip and critique buddy and defender of my soul all wrapped up in one beautiful woman! She welcomed me into her world and her smile kept me there. I stand by her, appreciate her, adore her and most of all trust her. She has witnessed and supported me through many journeys, good and bad. I can always count on her for anything I would ever need. She lifts me up when I’m down and wants to whip the world when I’m hurting. She also shares the rest of her own family with me and makes me feel so welcomed and loved. I just couldn’t do without her in my life and hope to never have to. Much love and hugs for my Heidi. She deserves much more.”

Phyllis, thank you for taking the time to shine such a light on an amazing person. Heidi, thank you for being an amazing friend and overall an awesome person.
