This month is all about Impactful Plus Size Women
A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER
March is here and it is one of my favorite months of the year. The weather starts to break and becomes a bit warmer. Snow becomes a thing of the past, we begin planning our Summer fun and it’s Women's History month! With Shapely consisting of a team led by women, I make it a point to celebrate my team, those that have paved the way and those that will carry the torch long after us. Shapely will be highlighting noteworthy plus size women all month .
With the world slowly opening up, COVID cases on the decline* and the vaccine becoming more readily available, many are starting to take a look at their travel calendar. With that said, don't forget to take a look at our upcoming events. With events being added weekly, you can fill in those calendar dates quicker than you thought.
If you haven't noticed Shapely had a bit of a makeover. Our Art Director, Toya slayed Shapely’s brand refresh. Our new look is now more aligned with our overall positioning as the official ‘Lifestyle for the plus sized brand.‘ This mantra embodies our belief that the plus size experience is all about our every day encounters and stories. These stories that we share on Shapely are critical for us to continue to share plus size experiences. Therefore, we hope that when you see our new look that it resonates with you as much as it does for us here at Shapely.
Last but not least, please be conscious about your spending this month. Try your best to support women-owned and women-led brands. If you want to take it a step further, let the brand know the reason you're supporting. It is important for brands to know the impact they have on their community and customers. It is also important to support women owned companies in general. The more we see ourselves, the more we’ll believe in ourselves.
